Export `RAILWAY_TOKEN`; POST to https://backboard.railway.com/graphql/v2.
Run: `mutation volumeInstanceUpdate($volumeId: String!, $input: VolumeInstanceUpdateInput!){ volumeInstanceUpdate(volumeId: $volumeId, input: $input) }` with variables {"volumeId":"<volume-id>","input":{"mountPath":"/new/path"}}.
Redeploy the attached service so the new mount path takes effect; verify under the volume settings and in the container at the new path.

Known gotchas

This updates the volume instance mount path and typically triggers a service restart/redeploy — expect brief downtime even with healthchecks configured.
Existing data stays on the volume; the path it appears at changes, so update any absolute paths your app uses.
Pick a path under the container (e.g. /app/data) if your app writes via a relative ./data path, so it maps into the volume.
