Steps

  1. In the Remootio app, set Output Configuration to match your hardware, e.g. "Output 1 gate impulse / Output 2 free relay" or both outputs as gate impulse for a dual-input gate.
  2. For a dual-input operator, wire Output 1 to the "open" terminal and Output 2 to the "close" terminal of the control board.
  3. Over an authenticated WebSocket session, target the secondary output's action separately from the primary gate action when that output is configured as a free relay (e.g. a pedestrian gate or light).
  4. Read the primaryRelayName/secondaryRelayName fields the device reports to label each output correctly in your integration.
  5. Re-query the device configuration after any output-mode change made in the app, since the valid action set changes with output mode.
