Steps
Confirm your Meevo Public API plan includes MeevoEvents webhooks (bundled with the same $49/month Public API access as of the 2026 March release).
Choose from the available webhook events: Appointment Started (Checked In), Appointment Completed (Checked Out), Package Created, Package Updated, Package Used, plus the pre-existing Appointment Created/Updated and Client webhooks.
Register your receiving endpoint through Meevo's integration setup (per your Welcome Kit / MSI representative) to start receiving event payloads.
Parse the payload fields relevant to your use case — e.g., Appointment Created/Updated now include the servicing client's email and phone, and Client Deleted now includes email/phone as well.
Use the client communication-preference fields (including the new UseForTextMarketing flag) if you're syncing marketing opt-in status alongside bookings.
Known gotchas
Several MeevoEvents webhooks (Checked In/Checked Out, Package Created/Updated/Used) were only added in the 2026 March release — older integration guides you find elsewhere may not mention them.
Webhook payload shape changed for existing events in the same release (added email/phone fields), so re-validate any existing payload-parsing code against the current schema rather than assuming it's unchanged.
