Steps

  1. List available gift card templates (predefined or custom-amount) with the Gift Card Templates GET endpoints for the center.
  2. Create a gift card sale invoice with the 'Create a gift card sale invoice after using a gift card template' POST endpoint, referencing the template and the purchasing guest.
  3. Collect payment on the invoice with one of the Invoice Payments endpoints (saved card, new card, or offline method) and close the invoice.
  4. Call GET 'Verify the balance of a gift card' to confirm the card's remaining/loaded balance.
  5. Call POST 'Send a gift card email to a guest' to email the gift card code to the recipient.
