Steps
Go to Settings > Report Templates > New Custom Report (TrackTik ships generic activity-log templates but has no built-in K9-specific one)
Name the template, add instructions describing when handlers should use it, and assign it to the relevant K9/specialty unit sites or make it On Demand
Use Creating and Editing Report Template Fields to add fields for handler name, dog/unit ID, deployment type, and narrative/photo fields
Set Approve Automatically if the log should be immediately visible to clients, or leave it for admin review first
Export the finished template (Edit > Export Template) to copy its configuration into other regions/portals
Known gotchas
TrackTik does not ship a pre-built K9 report template — this must be built from the generic custom report form builder
Once the template has live submissions, don't archive/delete fields in place — duplicate the template for changes or historical entries will render blank
