Steps

  1. With a valid customer-authorized access token, call GET /api/homeappliances to list every appliance the customer has linked to their Home Connect account
  2. For each returned entry, note the type, brand, vib variant identifier, and connected flag
  3. Use the connected flag to identify which units are currently online, so a multi-appliance service visit can be planned around which appliances can be pre-diagnosed remotely versus which need an in-person check
  4. Store the haId values for repeat use across future service visits for that customer
