Steps

  1. Retrieve the test event code shown on the pixel's Test Events tab in Events Manager
  2. Add a top-level test_event_code field, a sibling of the data array of Server Event objects, to the CAPI request payload
  3. Send server events as normal to the CAPI endpoint with test_event_code included
  4. Confirm the events appear in the Test Events interface in near real time
  5. Remove test_event_code once validation is complete so events count toward production reporting
