Documented steps

  1. Run mc admin decommission status ALIAS WITHOUT a TARGET to list all pools as a summary table
  2. Read each pool's ID, endpoint, usage percentage, status, and objects moved (if any)
  3. For the target pool, obtain its full pool description: e.g. https://minio-{01...04}.example.net:9000/mnt/disk{1...4}
  4. For multi-arg startup-config pool definitions, use the pool's hash:<hex> identifier (e.g. hash:a10f38e84ec12b) as the TARGET
