Set raised character height between 5/8 inch (16mm) minimum and 2 inches (51mm) maximum, measured from the baseline of the uppercase letter I
Position Grade 2 Braille below the corresponding raised text (below the entire text block if multi-line), separated at least 3/8 inch (9.5mm) from other tactile characters or raised borders
Ensure braille dots are domed/rounded and meet the dimension/spacing requirements of Table 703.3.1
Mount the sign so the lowest tactile character's baseline is at least 48 inches (1220mm) and the highest tactile character's baseline is at most 60 inches (1525mm) above the finish floor
Cross-check finish/contrast and non-glare requirements alongside the tactile/braille dimensions, since section 703 covers both together

Character height is measured specifically from the baseline of the uppercase letter I — measuring from a different reference character produces an incorrect height
