submit a pcb fabrication order programmatically via the jlcpcb pcb api

Steps
Register an account at jlcpcb.com, then apply for API access at api.jlcpcb.com, including company/business details — JLCPCB reviews each application based on prior order history and does not approve everyone.
Once approved, obtain API credentials for authenticating requests to the PCB API.
Use the PCB API to upload Gerber/drill files and request automated pricing (mirroring the web quote flow: board spec fields, quantity, layers, etc.).
Create the order via the PCB API's order-create capability, then poll the order-tracking capability for production status.
For parts sourcing/BOM instead of fabrication, use the separate Parts API to query JLCPCB's SMT assembly component library.
Contact JLCPCB support for integration issues — JLCPCB explicitly does not provide code review or coding help.
Known gotchas
This is a partner program, not instant self-serve: approval is discretionary and tied to your existing order volume/business relationship with JLCPCB, so a brand-new account may be rejected outright.
API partners are contractually barred from using JLCPCB's name/logo in their own site branding without permission; violation can suspend API access.
Exact endpoint-level request/response field names (auth headers, payload schema) should be confirmed directly against the current api.jlcpcb.com reference before integrating — only the program's existence and scope were independently verified here.
