Note the components searched: SSN trace, county criminal court search (statewide search used in Kansas, Michigan, New York), motor vehicle records (unavailable in Washington and Pennsylvania), national sex offender registry (automatic disqualification), nationwide criminal database, federal district court search, and USA Patriot Act/Terrorist Watch List check (automatic disqualification).
4. Apply the scoring rule: a total score of 24 points or below passes; 25 points or higher disqualifies the candidate from working as a loan signing agent, with points assigned per offense per SPW criteria.
5. Note that pending cases for serious crimes hold the screening as incomplete until resolved, and deferred adjudication/pretrial diversion charges are scored until court-ordered terms are satisfied.
