Steps
Place NFC-enabled tokens at each physical checkpoint location on the property
Create one or more patrol routes referencing those checkpoint tokens from the web dashboard
Schedule the route on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and push it to the security/concierge dashboard
Guard opens the app, confirms the assigned route, and scans each NFC checkpoint with an NFC-enabled smartphone
Review the auto-generated patrol report (guard, start/finish time, route followed) emailed to administrators after each completed patrol
Known gotchas
Missed checkpoints or entire missed patrols trigger an email/text alert to administrators, so route scheduling must account for guard availability to avoid false "missed" alerts
Offline-mode scans are cached on the device and only sync (with accurate timestamps) once connectivity is restored — a device that never reconnects will not report those scans
