Steps

  1. Go to families.decal.ga.gov/Provider/Data (the Provider Data Export page)
  2. Optionally filter by program type (Child Care Learning Center, Family Child Care Learning Home, GA Head Start, GA Early Head Start, etc.) and/or county before exporting
  3. Trigger the export via the 'Download File' control, which posts back an Excel/CSV extract rather than calling a REST endpoint
  4. Cross-reference exported fields against the published Data Export Data Dictionary PDF (decal.ga.gov/Documents/Attachments/DataExportDataDictionary.pdf) to correctly interpret columns
  5. Re-run the export periodically for refreshed data, since there is no webhook or change-feed for provider updates
