Review the Events, Alerts, and Notifications overview and the Event Types / Data Schemas reference
Create an Event Subscription scoped to the desired device(s) and event type(s)
Configure the delivery target for the subscription
Trigger a qualifying event (e.g. motion) and confirm the payload matches the documented Data Schema
Extend into an Automation if the event should trigger an action such as a PTZ preset or notification
