Documented steps

  1. Authenticate as an existing owner of the package.
  2. Run: npm owner rm <username> <package-spec> to revoke the user's maintenance rights.
  3. After removal the user can no longer publish, edit metadata, or manage owners for that package.
  4. If two-factor auth is enabled in auth-and-writes mode, pass the one-time code via the otp option or answer the prompt.
  5. Confirm: npm owner ls <package-spec> no longer shows the removed username.
