Steps
Request an API key for the Quick-Quote API product on McLeod's Innovation Hub portal
Submit shipper, consignee, origin city/state, and destination city/state to create a quote
Retrieve the created quote to review pricing and feasibility before presenting it to a customer
Feed accepted/rejected quote outcomes back into your own win/loss tracking, since Quick-Quote itself is scoped to quote creation and retrieval, not reporting
Convert an accepted quote into an order using the separate Order Creation API rather than expecting Quick-Quote to auto-create the order
Known gotchas
Quick-Quote and Order Creation are separate APIs with separate keys on Innovation Hub - a won quote does not automatically become an order without a second integration call
This API is scoped to LoadMaster/PowerBroker tenants; it requires the customer's McLeod instance to be provisioned, it's not a standalone rate tool
