Note PDI's own account of the rollout: Phase 1 synced customer account numbers, names, addresses, and daily gains/losses from the PDI ERP into P3; Phase 2 (per PDI's blog) added direct account-to-account linking between the two systems.
After Phase 2 activation, use the account link inside your PDI ERP account view to jump directly to the equivalent P3 Compliance System record for that customer.
Confirm daily gains/losses continue to sync automatically post-linking so P3's tank-asset-recovery workflows stay current without manual re-entry.
Validate the linkage per-account rather than assuming a one-time system-level activation covers every existing customer retroactively.

Known gotchas

This integration is specific to the PDI/Blue Cow Ignite lineage of ERP — it is a separate partnership from the ADD Systems/SmartConnect P3 integration and uses a different technical path.
Public documentation describes the integration at a feature/benefit level (press releases, blog posts) rather than publishing API endpoints; implementation details come from PDI/P3 account teams.
'Phase 2' account-linking was a 2024 rollout per PDI's announcement — confirm your PDI instance has received this update rather than assuming Phase 1 behavior (data sync only, no click-through linking).
