Steps

1. Set up raw ingredient and packaging stock items in Ekos with correct units of measure before creating batches, since batch costing and depletion depend on this setup.
2. Create a production batch in Ekos, recording recipe/ingredient usage as it happens rather than after the fact, to keep real-time inventory accurate.
3. Log packaging runs against the batch so finished goods stock is created and raw/bulk stock is depleted automatically.
4. Use Ekos's inventory reports to reconcile physical counts against system-recorded stock on a regular cadence.
5. If connecting a taproom POS (e.g., Arryved) or distributor system, confirm the integration is configured to deplete Ekos packaged inventory automatically on sale rather than requiring manual entry.
