Determine the facility's PMS (SiteLink Web Edition, Self Storage Manager, Storable Easy, or Storable Edge) since each has its own integration article and setup steps
For SiteLink, create SpareFoot-dedicated API credentials in Corporate Control Center and enable all 4 required API channels, assigning each facility its own location code
For Storable Easy, confirm its built-in data feed (API) is enabled so pricing/availability push automatically to the SpareFoot listing
Email support@sparefoot.com to have an implementation specialist finish configuration and confirm the feed is live
Verify leads flow through correctly and that monthly billing auto-reconciles only against tenants who actually moved in
Known gotchas
Each PMS integration path has different credential requirements (API user + rights vs. username/password/WSDL) - don't assume a SiteLink-style setup applies to SSM or Storable Easy
