Steps
Identify which PMS the facility runs - SiteLink Web Edition, Self Storage Manager (SSM), Storable Easy, or Storable Edge each have a distinct integration path
For SiteLink, create a dedicated SpareFoot API user in Corporate Control Center and grant access to all 4 required API channels, with one location code per facility
For SSM, provide the API username, password, and WSDL location required for SpareFoot's integration
Email support@sparefoot.com to have a SpareFoot implementation specialist complete and verify the integration
Confirm the data feed is pushing accurate price/availability to the SpareFoot listing and that monthly move-in billing auto-reconciles
Known gotchas
SpareFoot does not billing-reconcile move-ins manually - it auto-matches tenants who actually moved in each month, so mismatched facility/location codes cause billing discrepancies, not just listing errors
The integration only pushes pricing/availability and pulls leads - it isn't a general-purpose PMS API, so don't expect broader tenant/ledger data through this channel
SiteLink-integrated facilities reportedly see materially better lead conversion than non-integrated ones, so a broken feed silently costs conversion, not just accuracy
