Steps
Authenticate via OAuth2 against the correct regional Stayntouch Connect endpoint for the property
Query current room and housekeeping status for the property
Post a room status change (e.g. clean, dirty, inspected, out-of-order)
Confirm the change is reflected when re-querying room status
Subscribe to housekeeping-category webhook events to keep a downstream system in sync without repeated polling
Known gotchas
Stayntouch Connect uses region-specific API endpoints; calling the wrong regional endpoint for a property's actual region will fail authentication or return no data
Room status values and their exact codes are property-configuration-dependent, so the same status label may map to different underlying codes across properties
This is a separate PMS from OPERA Cloud; do not reuse OHIP housekeeping payload shapes or status codes when integrating with Stayntouch
