Steps
In the Encircle web app, open the claim inbox and click Settings, then select Bots/Public API.
Click Create Bot to register a new integration bot for your organization.
On the new bot, click Create Bearer Token, then re-enter your Encircle password to confirm.
Copy the bearer token immediately after it is generated — Encircle displays it only once and hides it after you navigate away or refresh.
Store the token securely and pass it as the Authorization bearer credential on requests to the Encircle public API described in the OpenAPI reference at encircleinc.github.io/public-api.
Known gotchas
Creating a bot and bearer token requires Encircle admin permissions; non-admin users cannot access Bots/Public API.
The token is shown only once — if you lose it, you must revoke it from the Bots page and generate a new one rather than trying to retrieve the original.
Companies with multiple Encircle organizations need a separate token per org unless they contact Encircle support for a consolidated setup.
