Steps
Set the firmware source with OtaUrl <url>, pointing at an official Tasmota binary (e.g. from ota.tasmota.com) or a self-hosted .bin file.
Optionally stand up a local OTA server (e.g. python -m http.server) and point OtaUrl at it if you're testing custom/self-built binaries.
Trigger the upgrade from the web UI's Firmware Upgrade page, or issue the Upgrade 1 console/MQTT command.

Known gotchas
Losing power or Wi-Fi connectivity mid-OTA can leave the device needing a serial re-flash, since Tasmota's OTA has no resumable transfer.
Pointing OtaUrl at a binary built for a different chip variant (e.g. an ESP32 binary onto an ESP8266) will fail or brick the device — binaries are chip-specific.
