Plan pre-cover (pre-enclosure) inspections and adhesion spot checks before the air/water-resistive barrier is concealed by insulation, cladding, or masonry
Schedule assembly-level mock-up or in-situ air-leakage testing (e.g., per ASTM E2357-style methodology) after transitions and penetrations are detailed but before large-scale rollout
Reserve whole-building fan-pressurization testing (ASTM E779 or E3158) for a stage when the envelope is substantially complete, including windows, doors, and through-wall penetrations sealed
Build in time for corrective action and re-test cycles, since BECx practice (ASTM E2813) expects issues logs and re-verification rather than one-shot pass/fail testing
Document each test event in the Cx plan's issues log with responsible party and closure date, consistent with ASTM E2947 documentation guidance
