Steps

  1. Go to Customers > Manage Customers, open the Portal Users subtab, and enable Customer Portal at the account level
  2. Go to Customers > Manage Locations, open a location's edit pencil, and enable Portal on the Portal subtab (portal access must be turned on per-location as well as per-account)
  3. Selectively enable per-location features: Service Request, Elapsed Time, Supply Request, Feedback, Quality Checks, Who's Working, Employee Time and Duration, and File Storage
  4. Start with only a few features (e.g., Service Request) while your team adjusts to responding to client requests before enabling more
  5. Create Customer Portal Users so clients can log in and view/request the enabled features
