Steps
Obtain an OHIP OAuth token and required property/hotel headers as set up for prior OPERA Cloud integration
Look up the property's block REST module in the OHIP REST API specifications (oracle/hospitality-api-docs on GitHub) for the current endpoint paths
Create or retrieve a block by block code and set room-type allocation grids and cutoff dates
Add rooming list entries, linking each entry to a guest or company profile
Create reservations from the rooming list so they draw against the block allocation and monitor pickup versus allocation
Known gotchas
Block and rooming-list terminology differs between the OPERA Cloud UI (Rooming List, Group Rooming List Import) and the REST payload field names, so cross-check against the current JSON spec rather than the UI help
Reservations created from a block deduct from that block's room-type allocation, not general property inventory, so allocation must be sized correctly before bulk pickup
Endpoint paths and payload shapes change between OHIP releases; pin to a specific spec version from the GitHub repo rather than assuming stability
