Documented steps Send your Neynar API key as x-api-header. For a following feed for a user: GET https://api.neynar.com/v2/farcaster/feed?feed_type=following&fid=<userfid>&limit=25. For a channel feed: feed_type=filter&filter_type=channel_id&channel_id=<id>&limit=25. The response contains a casts array with full cast objects (text, author profile, reactions, embeds, timestamps). Use the SDK: await neynar.fetchFeed({feedType:'following', fid, limit}) or the channel filter variant. Advanced filters: filter_type parent_url to get casts under a URL/conversation, with cursor pagination for next pages. Known gotchas feed_type and filter params must match the filter_type you choose — mismatches return validation errors. Rate limits and result counts vary by Neynar plan tier; large fetches should be paginated with the returned cursor. Channel IDs are the stable lowercase slug (e.g. 'ethereum'), not display names, for channel_id lookups. Reactions/author data are non-nullable in v2 casts, so the object is render-ready without extra calls.
