Set up ScrapMonster's licensed commodity price data feed/API for scrap and metals pricing in an internal application

Steps

1. Register a ScrapMonster account and review Section 7 ("ScrapMonster Data, Index, and API") of the site's Terms of Use, which states API access and data feeds are part of the Services but that automated scraping/extraction without written permission is prohibited
2. Contact ScrapMonster to request the Enterprise Data & API Addendum referenced in the ToS, which governs enterprise/commercial API and data-licensing scope, redistribution rights, and technical access and supersedes the general Terms where they conflict
3. Scope which commodity categories you need — scrap metal prices by grade, LME/COMEX/SHFE futures mirrors, or catalytic converter/PGM scrap prices — since the site organizes them as separate price sections (e.g. /scrap-prices, /metal-prices, /catalytic-converter-scrap-price)
4. Negotiate refresh frequency and permitted internal-use-vs-redistribution terms, noting the ToS caps liability at the greater of fees paid in the prior 12 months or CAD $100 and disclaims data-accuracy warranties
5. Build your integration against the schema delivered under the signed addendum; there is no published self-serve endpoint reference prior to that agreement
