Post and search loads on the DAT One load board programmatically

Steps
Create a developer.dat.com account and request Freight Posting / Load Board API access; a signed integration agreement may be required for production credentials
Set up a service account for org-level auth per DAT's Service Accounts FAQ, then layer user-level authentication for the poster
Confirm the posting user has a Connexion seat and a load board seat - postings fail silently on entitlement, not just auth, if seats are missing
Submit a load posting with origin, destination, equipment type, and contact method (service accounts can use an alternate phone/email instead of the primary)
Poll or search the load/truck inventory endpoints to match capacity against posted freight
Handle DAT's account lockout behavior - repeated failed logins block the service account, and you must trigger or request an unblock before postings resume
Known gotchas
This is a partner-integration surface, not a self-serve public API - expect a certification step with DAT before go-live
CarrierWatch and OnBoard (DAT's compliance products) are explicitly NOT available over REST API as of the current FAQ - don't assume compliance data comes from the same integration
Service account emails cannot contain a '+' character, which breaks common email-aliasing conventions used in test environments
