Steps
Log the trained model from the training script with the Comet SDK's `log_model()` method
From the Single Experiment page's Assets & Artifacts tab, click "+ Register" (or use the SDK) to register the model
Set the registered model's Name, Version (auto-populated as 1.0.0 for the first registration), Description, and Visibility
Manage the model afterward from the Model Registry's Model Versions/Notes/History/Webhooks pages
Download and deploy the model programmatically via the Comet SDK's Model interface
Known gotchas
Registering a model that's already been registered before shows a different UI flow — you choose to save as a new version of the existing registered model rather than creating a duplicate
Downloaded model archives only include remote assets (e.g. from S3/GCS) if the right cloud credentials/permissions are configured for `Model.download()`
