Steps
Open AMPP's accreditation search tool at core.ampp.org/Accreditations/Search (linked from ampp.org/qp-program/program-services-link/find-a-contractor)
Select the accreditation type needed — QP1 through QP9 cover different scopes (contractor, inspection company, shop vs. field application), plus QS1/QN1 and AS-1/AS-2/AS-3 categories
Filter by country and state/province to find accredited organizations in the project's region
Confirm the specific QP designation matches the work scope, since a QP1 contractor accreditation is not the same as a QP5 inspection-company accreditation
Known gotchas
QP accreditation is organization-level (the firm), distinct from individual CIP certification (the inspector) — verify both separately if the contract requires certified individuals and an accredited firm
The search tool has no documented public API — it is a web form only, so automation requires HTML parsing
