Pass the National Home Inspector Examination
Apply for CCB certification with the required fee
Become an owner or employee of a business separately licensed, bonded, and insured with the CCB before performing paid inspections
Complete continuing education hours every 2 years to renew certification

Oregon certifies the individual but ALSO requires the business itself to be separately licensed, bonded, and insured with the CCB — individual certification alone does not authorize independent paid practice
