Cross-check findings against APHIS's Federal Noxious Weed List resources for any species subject to federal movement/quarantine restrictions
Coordinate with the state department of agriculture on any state-specific control, reporting, or disposal requirements for regulated species encountered during clearing
Plan equipment cleaning/decontamination between sites if invasive propagules (seeds, rhizomes) are present, to avoid spreading regulated species
Document any regulated-species findings and control measures taken as part of the project's environmental record

The PLANTS Database's original invasive/noxious weed dataset was not migrated when the site was relaunched in 2021; a newer dataset is being deployed - confirm current completeness before relying on it as the sole source
