Steps
Register as a seller on Fab (the unified marketplace that replaced the Unreal Marketplace, Sketchfab Store, and Quixel Bridge) and complete payout/tax setup
Create a new listing in the Fab Publishing Portal, choosing the correct asset category and engine/format compatibility
Upload the asset package following Fab's technical asset requirements (folder structure, supported file formats, thumbnail/media specs) exactly, since failing them is a common first-submission rejection reason
Build out the listing's media set (preview images, description, tags) and submit it for Epic's content and technical compliance review
Respond to any reviewer feedback and resubmit if rejected, then monitor the listing once live for the standard revenue share payout
Known gotchas
There is no public REST/upload API for Fab as of 2026 — publishing is a manual, portal-only workflow, so it cannot be automated the way Steamworks or EOS builds can
Technical asset requirements are strict and documented separately from the general publishing guide; skipping them is the most common cause of review rejection
Fab consolidated multiple prior marketplaces (Unreal Marketplace, Sketchfab, Quixel Bridge, ArtStation Marketplace), so older documentation or asset packaging conventions from those platforms may no longer match Fab's current requirements
