Steps
Register a client at admin.polaraccesslink.com to get a client ID and secret, then complete OAuth2 authorization for the user
Register the user with AccessLink via the users endpoint after their first authorization — required before any data can be pulled
Open a new exercise transaction for the user, which returns a transaction ID and lists newly available sessions
Fetch each listed exercise resource by its transaction-scoped URL to retrieve the session summary/detail
Commit the transaction once all sessions are fetched so Polar marks them delivered and won't resend them
Known gotchas
Sessions only appear inside an open transaction — failing to commit (or abandoning) the transaction can cause the same sessions to be resent on the next poll
A user must be explicitly registered with your client via the users endpoint before any transaction can be opened for them
AccessLink covers Polar consumer devices/Flow app data — it is a separate product from any Polar clinical or Team Pro APIs
