Steps
Confirm directly from PredictWind's own help center that no public API is offered and none is currently on their roadmap before proposing an integration design
For displaying weather visuals on a third-party site, use the sanctioned Map Embedding option, requested through PredictWind's maps page
For GRIB data, rely on downloading through PredictWind's own Offshore App (mobile) or desktop client rather than expecting a programmatic pull
Treat Weather Routing and Departure Planning outputs as computed server-side and delivered only through PredictWind's own apps, using the highest-resolution model available internally even when the displayed GRIB is coarser
If a genuine business need exists, contact PredictWind directly to propose a custom arrangement, since there is no self-serve developer tier
Known gotchas
Do not publish or assume any PredictWind API endpoint, key, or auth scheme; none exists as of this research and PredictWind has stated it is not on their roadmap
Routing/Departure Planning outputs are computed from higher-resolution data than what's shown in the corresponding GRIB/map download, which legitimately causes value mismatches between the routing table and the visual overlay
The supported weather model blend (ECMWF, GFS, UKMO, Spire, PredictWind's own models) is proprietary logic; there is no way to isolate a single model's raw output outside their apps
