  1. Get a FMCSA Developer WebKey via the Login.gov signup flow described on mobile.fmcsa.dot.gov/QCDevsite.
  2. Call GET https://mobile.fmcsa.dot.gov/qc/services/carriers/{dotNumber}/docket-numbers?webKey=YOUR_WEB_KEY.
  3. Review the returned list of docket/MC numbers associated with that single USDOT number.
  4. Use this to reconcile cases where a mover quotes one MC number in its contract but is filed under a different or additional docket number in FMCSA's system.
  5. Flag mismatches for manual review before finalizing a vendor or partner agreement with the carrier.
