Steps
In OrangeQC, click the Setup tab, then Ratings in the left sidebar to view existing rating types
Click New Rating and choose Number Picker, since number pickers are the rating type used to report ATP/qPCR luminometer readings (as well as temperatures or inventory counts)
Name the rating (e.g., 'ATP RLU Reading') and optionally set a prefix/suffix such as 'RLU' so inspectors know the unit while entering a value
Save the rating, then add it as a line item on the relevant disinfection-testing inspection form alongside visual checklist items
Run the inspection on the mobile app, entering the swabbed ATP/qPCR score per surface, and review results in the standard inspection reports
Known gotchas
OrangeQC's number-picker rating just records a numeric value — it does not itself define pass/fail thresholds for ATP RLU counts; pass/fail logic must be applied via a separate percentage/points rating or manual review
ATP support is a data-entry field (number picker), not a dedicated ATP-meter hardware integration — readings must be typed in manually from the handheld ATP device
OrangeQC explicitly lists 'Disinfection testing inspections, including recording ATP and qPCR scores' as a supported use case, so confirm your specific ATP meter's units before standardizing the prefix/suffix across locations
