Steps

  1. Obtain an API License Key and API Password by logging into ChargePoint with a Network Manager or API user account, then visiting Organizations > API Info
  2. Call getStations to retrieve station information for stations under management
  3. Call getStationStatus to retrieve availability status and, optionally, connector type and max power level per port
  4. Use a load-management call to shed load for a single port, both ports on a multi-port station, or a group of stations, choosing only one target type per request
  5. Use the corresponding remove-load-shed call to clear an existing load-shed event
