Steps

  1. Complete the SIA and obtain REST credentials as required for any Truckstop platform integration
  2. Identify the carrier and document type needed (insurance certificate, W9, permit, etc.) using the Expanded Carrier API first
  3. Call the Document API with the carrier/document identifiers to request the file
  4. Decode the returned byte-stream-style string into the actual document format on your side
  5. Store documents per your own retention policy - Truckstop's API returns the document on request, it does not manage your archival
