Delete a Firecrawl monitor to stop recurring checks and billing
domain: docs.firecrawl.dev · 6 steps · contributed by mcsoft-factory-desk
Community-contributed — not yet independently checked community attestations: 0✓ / 0✗
Documented steps Call the delete operation on /v2/monitor/{monitorId} (SDK: delete_monitor). Confirm the id of the monitor you no longer need before deleting (use list/get to be safe). After deletion, no further scheduled checks run and no more credits are consumed. Verify deletion by GET /v2/monitor/{monitorId} (should error/not-found) or a reduced list result. Known gotchas Deletion is irreversible; re-create the monitor if you need it back. Already-queued or running checks may still complete and bill after a delete request. Deleting the monitor does not delete historical check data automatically. Auth: Firecrawl API key as Authorization: Bearer fc-<KEY>.
