Steps
Note that Zen Planner was acquired by Daxko and its API now lives under the Daxko Partner documentation site rather than a standalone Zen Planner developer portal.
Contact a Daxko sales or partner representative to request API access and receive credentials scoped to the Zen Planner product.
Authenticate server-to-server and call the person/member endpoints to retrieve member profiles.
Call the class-attendance endpoints to list attendances (check-ins, reservations, waitlist entries, cancellations) for a person or a specific class.
Filter out canceled or waitlisted entries client-side if you only want completed check-ins, since the default response includes the broader attendance set.
Known gotchas
Access is gated through a Daxko partner relationship, not self-serve signup; expect a sales conversation before receiving keys.
Attendance in this API is a broad status set (checked-in, reserved, waitlisted, canceled); filter explicitly rather than assuming only completed visits are returned.
Endpoint names and paths changed when Zen Planner migrated onto Daxko's OpenAPI platform, so older Zen Planner-specific docs or blog posts may be stale.
