Steps
Confirm your camp's registration or parent-portal system supports outbound SSO handoff to a third party
Work with your web developer and CampDoc to configure the SSO integration using the CampDoc API
Map each family/participant record in your source system to its corresponding CampDoc profile (via CampDoc id or your own identifier)
Test the redirect flow so an authenticated parent lands directly on their child's CampDoc profile without a second login prompt
Roll out to production and verify with a real family account before the registration season opens
Known gotchas
SSO only works once the participant already has (or is created with) a matching CampDoc profile — pair it with account provisioning if rosters aren't already synced
CampDoc doesn't publish a self-serve SSO config UI in general help docs — this integration is implemented through the API in partnership with CampDoc's team, not a plug-and-play toggle
