Steps

  1. In KEPServerEX IoT Gateway, add an agent and set its type to REST Server
  2. Configure the Network Adapter (Localhost only vs. all network connections) and optionally a CORS Allowed Origins list
  3. Enable HTTPS if remote clients need encrypted access; note a self-signed certificate is generated automatically
  4. Connect a REST client to the default endpoint https://localhost:39320/iotgateway/ (or the configured host/port) to browse available tags
  5. Issue GET/POST requests against the agent's exposed tags to read current values or write new ones
