Documented steps Set an alias with admin credentials (the built-in root or an account with admin:* policy): mc alias set myaistor ENDPOINT ACCESS SECRET. Run mc admin info myaistor to show overall cluster status (Online/Offline), aggregate capacity/usage, and per-server rows. For a distributed deployment, output lists each node showing uptime, drive count (e.g. Drives: 4/4), pool ID, and MinIO version. Pass --json to get structured per-node data for programmatic health checks and alerting. Confirm the cluster edition/license line (e.g. Edition: AIStor) matches what you expect.
Known gotchas Requires admin-privileged credentials; a normal data user gets an access-denied error. The output includes a cluster indicator (● Online) and a capacity bar with used/total bytes. Per-node rows include a marker (★) for the node serving the request in distributed mode. Official docs: https://docs.min.io/aistor/reference/cli/admin/mc-admin-info/
