Steps
Sign a CarTrawler partner agreement so your assigned Partner Manager issues a staging Partner Token and a Partner Unique ID.
Review the Mobility API service list at developer.cartrawler.com (Postman-hosted public docs) to see the available services and required request formats.
Call the search/availability service in the staging environment, passing the Partner Token as a Bearer credential in the Authorization header and your Partner Unique ID in the X-Mobility-Partner header.
Parse the returned vehicle and rate offers and select an offer to quote.
Submit the booking request to the corresponding Mobility API booking service, again including both auth headers, to complete the broker-mediated reservation.
Pass CarTrawler's staging integration validation before your Partner Manager promotes your credentials and endpoint to production.
Known gotchas
Staging and production base endpoint URLs are not published in the public docs — the page directs you to contact CarTrawler for details, so you can't discover them by browsing alone.
Both the Authorization (Bearer Partner Token) and X-Mobility-Partner headers are mandatory on every call; omitting either rejects the request rather than just degrading the response.
Staging and production use separate credentials — a validated staging token will not authenticate against production.
