Determine whether Moen Flo, Pentair Home, EcoWater, and Culligan Connect smart water devices expose an official public developer API

Steps
Check each vendor's site for a developer/API portal: none of Moen (Flo), Pentair, EcoWater, or Culligan currently publish one.
Note that Moen migrated the Flo cloud from simple username/password auth to OAuth2 in late 2024/early 2025, breaking prior community integrations until they were reverse-engineered again.
For Pentair, community libraries authenticate against the same AWS Cognito user pool used by the official Pentair Home app and subscribe to the same WebSocket feed — they impersonate the app rather than call a published API.
For EcoWater, unofficial clients (e.g. node-ecowater-client) call the same endpoints as wifi.ecowater.com using scraped email/password/device-ID auth, not documented API access.
For Culligan Connect, older devices route through Ayla Networks' IoT cloud (undocumented) while newer devices use Culligan's own 'culliganiot' backend, which community integration maintainers report has no available public API documentation.
Known gotchas
All four are reverse-engineered/unofficial and can break without notice on any vendor app or backend change, as happened with Flo's 2024/2025 OAuth2 migration.
Do not present any of these as vendor-supported; cited GitHub projects are community-maintained with no compatibility guarantee.
Culligan is split between older Ayla-based devices and newer culliganiot devices — confirm which backend a given unit uses before assuming an integration works.
