Steps
In Pool Brain's web Settings, open Job Scheduling to configure Time Windows (optional arrival windows like Go First/Go Last for one-time jobs)
Create Job Templates bundling a title, duration, tech instructions, office-only notes, workflow/checklist items, and products/services/discounts for common job types (e.g. pool opening/closing, new service startup)
Add checklist items and mark whether each requires tech confirmation and/or a photo; bold system items (backwash, cleaned filter, cleaned salt cell) only display when the body of water's registered equipment supports them
Separately configure Filter/Salt Cell Clean Templates, which auto-fill job info once the corresponding schedule toggle is turned on for a body of water
Apply a saved template from the dropdown when scheduling a matching job
Known gotchas
Filter/Salt Cell Clean Templates can't be deleted and don't appear in the normal template dropdown - they only function as defaults activated via the per-body-of-water toggle
Chemical readings/dosing and PSI capture on templated jobs are optional unless explicitly required (PSI can be fully deactivated for specific one-time job types)
Office Notes on a template are never visible to the technician in-app
