Steps Authenticate with your Printful private token against the v2 API. POST to the v2 shipping rates endpoint with the destination address and the catalog variant IDs/quantities you intend to order. Read the returned rate options (carrier, service level, price, estimated delivery window) to present shipping choices to your customer at checkout. Check the customs_fees_possible flag in the response to determine whether the destination may incur additional customs fees. Reuse the same address and items when creating the actual order so the shipping price you quoted matches what Printful charges. Known gotchas Shipping rates depend on the exact catalog variants and quantities requested — recalculate whenever the cart changes rather than caching a flat rate. customs_fees_possible is informational only; Printful doesn't collect or guarantee the customs amount through this endpoint.
