  2. Direct the bike owner, or the shop acting on their behalf with consent, through the OAuth2 flow to get an access token
  3. Submit a bike-creation request with the required details, including serial number, make, and model
  4. Include the access token on the request, since creating or modifying a specific bike requires authorization
  5. Confirm the returned bike record and store its Bike Index ID for future reference
  6. Direct customers to their own Bike Index account to manage visibility or ownership transfer going forward
